Mowing the Lawn...

Today I was mowing the lawn in the heat of the day...just like the news was advising against. I guess they thought mowing was a bad idea since it's a nozone action day and there is a heat advisory (oops.) They said it was 94 and with the heat index it felt like 105. I think they just need to quit their belly aching. It's beautiful weather!! :) Anyways...I was mowing around the clothes line pole. I was trying to get right up next to it and accidentally tapped it with the mower. It wasn't a big deal because it was a very soft tap and I've done it before on many objects. So I didn't think much of it until I saw about 10 wasps come charging out of the open end of the pole. Apparently they didn't appreciate my shaking the pole. Woops! lol So I put the mower in high speed and drove far, far away for a few mins lol. Then I saved that part of the yard for last and did it ridiculously fast so I'm sure it's not very even but oh well :) So once I was finished I got out the wasp and hornet spray. I sprayed a good amount in the pole then ran about 15 feet away. Then I saw all the wasps fly out of the pole (again...very grumpy lol) But it was rather amusing because all the ones I sprayed and the ones that landed in the spray would fall to the ground! MUAHAHAH! I felt powerful. Wellll...I think that is all about the mowing. But on a different note I think I'm getting a new digital camera today. The tricky thing is that I need to track down a charger for it. So I was looking up camera shops and battery shops in the phone book. I finally found one at 'batteries plus' but i forgot to ask their hours. I thought to myself 'i don't want to seem retarded calling back right away and asking for their hours' So I decided to keep calling other shops and the next one was 'batteries unlimited' I told the guy what i needed and he was like 'ugh...we sell industrial batteries like for trucks and semis' Sooooo...I still managed to be retarded :) Oh well haha. Other than getting a new (neon green) backpack, those are the highlights of my day thus far :) Adios!

Goodbye Summer

It would appear that basically every moment from now until school is planned. Today/tomorrow I will be in St. Louis helping my brother move into a storage container :) Tomorrow through wednesday I will be working 1 till close. Thursday my brother will be home so that will be a low key day but I want to continue pulling dents out of my car if there is time. Friday through Sunday I will be in Iowa for a family reunion. Monday and Tuesday I will be working. Wednesday I have off so I can get everything ready for school (i.e. new backpack and pens and pencils and paper and fun stuff like that!) Then Thursday I'm off to school. So yeah, goodbye summer. It seems like only yesturday that we were reunited :(

Writer's Block: Bump In The Night

What are you afraid of?

I'm afraid that I got a 'live journal' a long, long time ago and neglected it. In fact my journal indeed has been dead, and not alive. Thus the title 'live journal' has no purpose to my journal. I'm also afraid of rubbing alcohol. Mainly because one of my fingers is split open so when it came in contact with rubbing alcohol I thought I had just shoved my finger into a hot glue gun. Luckily, my finger wasn't lodged into the hot glue gun, but was simply contacting a rag that was saturated with hot glue. Another thing I'm afraid of is that this post is a bit silly. I like to be serious at all times and in all places never enjoying a moment of my life. I'm also afraid that I'm a big fat liar, especially when it comes to measuring my sillyness. You'd be much better off just asking a clown if I was silly or not. Clowns are usually silly, or just pretend to be in order to be paid for doing their duties as a clown. Either way they should know silly when they see it. For instance: person lodging finger into hot glue gun = silly. Person burning finger due to rubbing alcohol and a wound = not silly. The last thing I'm afraid of is I'm done writing this ridiculous post :) The end.
